Jeffrey finally did it. He's been trying for months and he finally succeeded in breaking off one of his two front teeth. He bashed his mouth yesterday at the park. I didn't realize until we got home that he had broken out a tooth. I am sick over it. We saw the dentist today and he can have outpatient surgery at the hospital to have it capped (which will cost lots of $$$$$$$ and he will probably knock that out too) or they can pull it out and he can be a toothless goober until somewhere near 8 yrs of age. Six years being toothless, that's a long time. There is no good solution when you break a tooth out. It's really sad. Most likely we will cap it, he will break the cap, we will have to pull the tooth anyway and later when he goes to apply for college I will explain that he has no college fund, we spent it all on dental care when he was 2.
And this is not an actual picture of Jeffrey, these teeth are much too nice to be Jeffrey's, at this rate when he actually gets to be this boys age I am guessing he will have way fewer, way uglier teeth.
