It was Marcilyn's birthday over the weekend. We went out to dinner with Ryan and Claire and we even had super yummy party chip cake with all of the candles. It was really fun having her here on her birthday and getting to celebrate with her. We love Aunt Marcilyn!

Birthday Boy

It was Jeffrey's birthday yesterday. He's officially 2. We had a fun day. We went to lunch with Aunt Marcilyn who is visiting and then we of course went to Mcdonalds for dinner. We had cupcakes and he opened a couple of presents. He loves the big Tonka truck. He pushed it around all night. We love our Jeffy boy.

Straw art

Jeffy got a hold of a box of brightly colored flexible drinking straws and this is what he did with them. What can I say? I am raising a creative genius. I am glad he has something going for himself because I gotta be honest, he is not speedy in the learning to talk department.

This is what happens when I put Jeffrey to bed with wet hair. IT'S SUPER CRAZY!! And check out his cowlick. I've never seen one bigger. I blame Dave.

Here are a few pictures I wanted to share.
These first two go to show that Ruby's teacher has a good sense of humor because she has the kids make these headbands for every holiday and also that I am extremely amused by them. They make me laugh every time.


These next two are of the snowman Ruby and Dave made tonight. We have had a wonderful snow storm today. There isn't a lot of snow, but we are loving it anyway. The leaves on the snowman's head are eyelashes. Ruby thought there needed to be eyelashes, which I think is extremely cute.
